A restaurant-bar was proposed as an adaptive reuse of an existing brick welding-machine shop located along the Congaree River in downtown Columbia. The design exploits the existing materials and nature of the industrial building in its conversion to a more public function. An existing covered outdoor area is utilized as a dining patio along the river.
